Dr. LeBeau recently returned from a nine day surgical mission trip to the highlands of Peru.  The annual trip, arranged through the Love for Peru Foundation, brought the team to the  remote mountain village of Sicuani where the team operated long hours repairing cleft lips, cleft palates and creating new ears for children with congenital ear deformations (microtia) using their own rib cartilage.  The team consisted of Facial Plastic Surgeons, Dr. LeBeau and Dr. Rich Barnett as well as a multidisciplinary team of a family practice physician, emergency medicine physician, physical therapist, physician assistant, nurses and a dentist.
